Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Eucalyptus globulus) extracted by steam distilling its leaves.

MARNYS® Eucalyptus Essential Oil is 100% pure and chemotyped, that is, it has got a defined composition and is 100% of natural origin. Eucalyptus oil has been obtained through steam distillation and has not been denatured or mixed with other oils, what ensures the properties of the essential oil.

MARNYS® Eucalyptus Essential Oil contains the chemotype: 1.8 cineole, its colour and appearance range from colourless to pale yellow, it has got a characteristic taste similar to Mint and Turpentine, properties that favour food taste.

MARNYS® Eucalyptus Essential Oil is a food-grade oil that is gradually being introduced into national and international haute cuisine to flavour teas, salad dressings or potato-based hot creams, not to mention the flavouring of edible fats such as butter.

Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) is a large tree, which due to its rapid growth has been used extensively in wood and paper production. Its essential oil has got multiple uses in traditional eastern and western herbology. Eucalyptus oils are volatile organic compounds found in fruits, flowers, bark, seeds, wood and roots. However, they are mainly extracted from leaves.

Eucalyptus (family Myrtaceae) is native to Australia and is known as Eucalyptus (Latin), Eucalipto (Spanish), Neelgiri (Hindi), Sugandh Patra (Sanskrit) and Gum Tree. Eucalyptus comes from the Greek word meaning ‘well covered‘ referring to the seed in its capsule.

INGREDIENTS

Eucalyptus globulus essential oil.

Always dilute 1-2 drops in 250g of food (juice, tea, salad, etc.). Maximum 3 times a day.
