Grapefruit essential oil (Citrus grandis) is extracted by pressing fresh peel.

MARNYS® Grapefruit Essential Oil is 100% pure and chemotyped, that is, it has got a defined composition and is 100% of natural origin. Grapefruit has been obtained by steam distillation and has not been denatured or mixed with other oils, what ensures the properties of the essential oil.

MARNYS® Grapefruit Essential Oil contains the chemotype: d-limonene. Its colour and appearance is yellow, and it’s got a characteristic citrus fresh flavour, properties that favour food taste.

MARNYS® Grapefruit Essential Oil is a food-grade oil. Its taste varies from slightly sweet and mild to acidic, sometimes with a slightly bitter touch.

The use of grapefruit is very common in bakery, desserts with fruit, herbal teas, teas and juices, providing flavour and putting the finishing touch due to its digestive effect. An exquisite recipe of Sweet Grapefruit uses the following ingredients: Grapefruit, water, cinnamon chips, brown sugar, raisins and green lemon juice.

Always dilute one to two drops in 250 g of food or drink (juice, herbal tea, salad, etc.). Maximum three times a day.
