MARNYS® Marjoram Essential Oil is 100% pure and chemotyped, that is, it has got a defined composition and is 100% of natural origin. Marjoram oil has been obtained by steam distillation and has not been denatured or mixed with other oils, what ensures the properties of the essential oil.
MARNYS® Marjoram Essential Oil contains the chemotypes: terpinene-4-ol, cis-sabinene hydrate, γ-terpinene. Its colour and appearance ranges from pale yellow to greenish-yellow, and it’s got a warm bitter taste, reminiscent of citrus fruits and pine, properties that favour food taste.
MARNYS® Marjoram Essential Oil is a food-grade oil with a taste similar to that of oregano, but softer, sweeter and more delicate. Aromatise your sauces, especially tomato sauces. This oil combines very well with fresh and melted cheese, and it’s even perfect to add to fruit salads. Marjoram can be combined with black pepper and juniper to dress meat stews, game and red meat. Liver stews and sausages in Germany contain Marjoram, and thyme is often added as well.
